Bridget Abare is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, holds a Master of Social Work degree from Indiana University, is Board Certified in Neurofeedback and is a member of the International Society for Neurofeedback and Research, ISNR. For years, she has worked helping individuals and families in crisis. After seeing the impact Neurofeedback can have in the real world, she has made it the main focus of her practice. Wave Neurofeedback is located on the Front Range just outside of Denver, in Lakewood, Colorado.
In addition to Neurofeedback therapy, Bridget provides talk therapy. I often use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in my practice. In your first session, we'll explore what brought you to therapy and then decide the most appropriate ways to help you make progress. With CBT, we'll look at how your thoughts affect your emotions and experience. During treatment, I'll help you learn how to push back against those thoughts to change your feelings for the better.
